The Art of Mindful Communication
Do you find it difficult to clearly communicate your needs and goals to others? Do you find it challenging to set limits, to say no and to ask for help? In this 8 week group, participants will visualize their desired communication patterns and learn how to clearly identify their communication goals. Participants will use mindfulness techniques to identify their desired tone, body language, choice of words, relationship needs, and issues of self care. Each week builds on the previous week with a combination of instruction, role play and homework.
Bringing the Sacred to Everyday Life
Each moment of our lives is sacred. How do we stay in touch with the sacredness of life while taking out the trash? This group helps participants find ways to illuminate the sacred moments and sacred spaces in our homes, our work, and our ways of relating to the world and ourselves. Our use of ritual, beauty and celebration will help bring our attention to the wonder of our everyday lives.
The Meaningful Purpose of the Soul's Journey
Where are we going on this path called life? How do we recognize and stay in touch with our purpose here? In this group, we will have personal conversations with our soul to gain clarity on who we are and what our path is. We will develop our life vision and define our internal guiding questions that will keep us on our true path.
Balancing the Body, Mind and Spirit
This group uses a combination of techniques to introduce a balancing of body, mind and spirit. Each week, a new form of mindfulness will be introduced such as: simple yoga postures, guided visualizations, chanting, walking meditation, body scan, and mindfulness meditation. The range of mindfulness skills will allow each participant to individually tailor their mindfulness routine at home.
Group content can be tailored to 8 week individual sessions.
